Why we stay on Property

Here’s a big truth about us: We love Disney World. I mean, yeah, that’s a big “DUH” because we write a WDW blog and everything. But the deeper truth is that we love ALL of Disney World. We love the parks, we love the resorts, we love everything there is on property. We think about staying off property but then think “But we love Port Orleans and Wilderness Lodge!” or “We want experience the Yacht Club or Saratoga Springs!” The only part of us that ever thinks that maybe we should branch out to an off-property resort is the part that wants to go to one or two days at another non-Disney park. But we can never quite bring ourselves to do it.
I mean, will that other park have an awesome Baby Care Center?
Will there be anything as nostalgic and campy as the Jungle Cruise?
Will they make towel origami for me?
The other resort might have a snack bar or something but for sure they won’t have anything as good as Disney resort quick service or be able to satisfy my Dole Whip addiction.
And the answer to all of those questions so far is a resounding “NO!”
