Grabbing a Quick Bite at Roaring Fork at Wilderness Lodge

We probably go to the quick service restaurant at our resort more than any one other place. Why? It’s quick and convenient. That’s it. The whole secret. And you know what else? It’s pretty tasty too.
The first couple of days that I am on vacation, I am overwhelmed by excitement and unable to eat – in fact, I tend to be a little nauseated in the mornings due to excitement. Quick service restaurants like Roaring Fork at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge has a variety of items and there’s bound to be something I can eat that won’t make me feel sicker than I already am such as fruit or cereal.
In the evenings, as we’re dragging ourselves and our kids back to the hotel, we often feel a bit peckish, and John and I will hit the resort and go into “Divide and Conquer” mode. This means that one of us will take the kids and go immediately to the room to begin the wind down process while the other one goes and hits Roaring Fork and brings back munchies and uber cold beverages with ice – lots of ice.
So don’t think of quick service as just a quick sandwich. Think of it as a way to decompress after a long day at the park or as the stress free beginning to a long beautiful day.
