Crystal Skulls for the Indy Stunt Show! Anyone with me? No?

I’ve been wondering about the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular lately. In the early days, back when it was the Disney MGM Studios, I saw the Indy Stunt Show, and I thought it was pretty fantastic. I’ve always been a big fan of that series of movies. I couldn’t get away from films like Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Ghostbusters, or Back to the Future when I was growing up. These are such a part of my brain that they shape how I think about everything.
Side note: Part of me wonders if this blog is a little like Indy’s moment there where he shifts the bag of sand for the idol. There will be tricks and traps on the way out of the temple, but in the end I think I’m on the right course.
Back to my main point, I went to see the Stunt Show again recently, and I was amazed that it was exactly the same. I didn’t see a difference. I was looking for them. The actors were different (I think) but the spikes that Indy avoids were all the same, everything was very well choreographed, and the films were all very well represented, except for one. There had been a new movie, the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and there was nothing. No change, no acknowledgment. I thought, wouldn’t it make a great chance to update the show? I know the movie isn’t the favorite of everyone, but there are some really fun elements in it that I think would make a good addition to this show.
Since then I’ve watched the Disney Blogs and boards and listened for changes or updates but I’ve heard nothing. There’s plenty about Jedi School, but nothing about Indy.
I hope I’m not alone here. Can we get an update to this show? I think there’s room for a stunt sequence in the show involving swinging from jeep to jeep in the Area 51 warehouse.
Maybe I’m alone, but I hope not.

I totally agree – I’d love there to be a few changes. They can keep the traditional (fab) one, but they have to cater for new indy and disney fans! x PS. love the blog, made up I’ve found it!
Thanks! I’d love to see this attraction updated. Now that the deal is done and Lucasfilm is a part of Disney maybe they’ll be up for a change here. (once they get through with the next Star Wars trilogy?)
